Yangpu Port: Hardware Upgraded, Terminal Operations Busy

On November 24, at the Phase II berths of the Yangpu Regional International Container Hub Port Expansion Project (Phase I), multiple container ships were docked and operating at the berths.

Currently, the Phase II berths of the Yangpu Regional International Container Hub Port Expansion Project (Phase I) have been officially put into operation. The entire 1,188-meter shoreline of the expansion project’s first phase is now fully capable of accommodating berths. The total operational shoreline of the Yangpu International Container Terminal has reached 1,970 meters, with an annual handling capacity increased to 5 million TEUs, achieving a leapfrog improvement in the terminal’s overall capacity level.
