Shenzhen Yan Tian Port Holdings Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 000088.SZ, hereinafter referred to as “Yan Tian Port”) recently released its performance report for the first half of 2025. In the first half of this year, Yan Tian Port achieved operating revenue of 389 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 4.49%; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 653 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.07%.
According to the announcement, Yan Tian Port’s performance was mainly driven by the following three factors:
Macroeconomic drivers. In the first half of 2025, the global economy gradually stabilized, China’s economic operation tended to be stable and improving, import and export of goods achieved rapid growth, trade scale reached a new high, and port cargo and container throughput both achieved rapid growth. As of the end of the reporting period, Yan Tian Port had opened 20 inland ports, 15 combined ports, 17 barge feeder lines, and 33 sea-rail intermodal routes, with services covering the Greater Bay Area, Southwest China, and Central China. Among them, Yan Tian Port is the preferred port for ultra-large vessels in South China and is also one of the busiest container terminals in the world; Huangshi New Port is a rare deep-water port in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.
Strategic investment drivers. In 2023, Yan Tian Port completed a major asset restructuring, acquiring 100% equity of Yangang Operation Company, and completed supporting fundraising in 2024, helping the company expand its business and asset scale and significantly improve profitability.
Innovative business model drivers. Huangshi New Port, controlled by Yan Tian Port, promoted the “shift from road to rail” business model for iron ore, continuously deepened the “river-sea direct” and “Yangtze River freight train” business models, and expanded customers nationwide around bulk commodities such as iron ore and grain; Huizhou Quanwan Coal Port implemented multiple measures in parallel to consolidate the existing customer base and ensure stable business operations; Xiaomo Port continued to develop ro-ro services for automobiles and domestic and international container shipping routes. Multiple factors jointly promoted the company’s steady performance growth.
