On July 23, the 64,000-ton series bulk carrier N1237 project, built by Zhoushan COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry for COSCO Shipping Development, successfully completed all sea trial projects and returned triumphantly from the sea trial.
After the vessel was launched on June 15, the project team, focusing on the dock mooring test work, scientifically coordinated and meticulously organized, overcoming adverse conditions such as high heat and typhoon weather, and orderly advanced various commissioning and inspection tasks. The vessel set sail for sea trials on July 21 and efficiently completed all navigation test handover tasks. Key technical indicators such as vessel speed, fuel consumption, vibration noise, and maneuverability all met or exceeded specification requirements, receiving unanimous recognition from the shipowner and classification society.
Currently, the project has entered the stage of full-ship equipment demonstration and pre-delivery closure of outstanding items, ensuring the vessel is delivered with high quality according to the established plan.
