Cadeler has signed two firm contracts covering the transportation and installation of offshore wind turbines and their foundations, with a combined projected value of about EUR 500 million, the company said in a news release.
The foundation transportation and installation campaign will begin in early 2029 and use one of Cadeler’s new A-class vessels. It marks the company’s third full-scope foundation contract. The turbine installation phase is scheduled to start in early 2030 and finish by the end of that year, using an O-class jack-up vessel.
Both agreements depend on the client’s final investment decision. If the project does not proceed, the contracts may be terminated, with a termination fee applying.
Cadeler A/S is a Danish offshore wind installation and service company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (CDLR) and the Oslo Stock Exchange (CADLR).
