On November 27, the launching ceremony for the 400-ton-class fishery law enforcement vessel “China Fishery Administration 31002,” custom-built by Jiangxi Jiangxin Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for the Law Enforcement Corps of the Shanghai Municipal Agricultural and Rural Committee, was held at the company’s riverside dock. Sun Guozhi, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Jiangxin Shipbuilding, presided over the ceremony.
Liu Daoyan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Jiangxin Shipbuilding, delivered a welcome speech, extending a warm welcome to the leaders and guests attending the ceremony. He also set clear requirements for advancing the subsequent ship construction work and ensuring the high-quality and efficient delivery of the vessel. Li Jiangang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chief of the Law Enforcement Corps of the Shanghai Municipal Agricultural and Rural Committee, delivered a speech, announced the launching, and performed the christening ceremony. Amidst stirring and cheerful music, the “China Fishery Administration 31002” smoothly slid into the Yangtze River, successfully touching the water.
According to reports, the vessel has an overall length of 53 meters, a beam of 8.5 meters, and a depth of 4.36 meters. It utilizes a twin-engine, twin-propeller, twin-rudder propulsion system and a round-bilge, short-knuckle line design, providing good navigation stability and maneuverability. The main hull is welded from high-quality steel, while the superstructure is made of lightweight aluminum alloy material, achieving a lightweight design while ensuring structural strength and effectively enhancing the vessel’s endurance. The vessel has a maximum speed of 22 knots, an endurance of 1,500 nautical miles, and self-sustainability for 15 days, meeting the law enforcement requirements for coastal navigation areas. After completion and delivery, it will be officially deployed for tasks such as fishery administration supervision and management, fishery resource protection, and emergency response on water within the waters under Shanghai’s jurisdiction, effectively enhancing the coverage and handling efficiency of waterborne law enforcement in the region.
