On November 28, Shandong Xineng Shipbuilding successfully held its third centralized signing ceremony for November. The ceremony resulted in the signing of orders for 15 standardized ship models and 50 letters of intent, with a total value exceeding one billion yuan.

During the ceremony, Xineng Shipbuilding successively signed construction contracts with Shandong Huihua Logistics Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., Zhongzhen Green Energy (Fujian) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and three individual shipowner representatives. It also signed letters of intent for construction with Jiangxi Longhe International Logistics Co., Ltd. and Qingdao Haolan New Energy Ship Technology Co., Ltd.

Against the backdrop of the持续推进 “Dual Carbon” goals and the deepening green transformation of the shipping industry, new energy ships have become an important force in promoting industry emission reduction and efficiency improvement. As a national high-tech enterprise and a participant in the formulation of new energy ship industry standards, Xineng Shipbuilding has always focused on the research, development, and manufacturing of new energy ships, driving product iteration and industrial upgrading through independent innovation and lean craftsmanship.

This centralized cooperation not only represents high recognition from the domestic inland waterway market for Xineng Shipbuilding’s products and technical capabilities but also reflects the determination of all parties to jointly respond to the trend of green shipping and collaboratively plan for the future. Xineng Shipbuilding will continue to deepen technological research and development, strengthen industrial synergy, and work with partners to explore the broad market for new energy shipping, injecting new momentum into achieving green, low-carbon, and sustainable development for the shipping industry.

It is understood that Xineng Shipbuilding is a subsidiary of Jining Energy Group. It is the first domestic inland waterway new energy ship manufacturing demonstration base project in China that integrates R&D design and intelligent manufacturing. Established in May 2022, it is primarily engaged in the R&D, design, manufacturing, and conversion of new energy ships. The company covers an area of 1,757 acres with a total investment of approximately 5.03 billion yuan. It has the capacity to build 400 inland river ships of 1,000 to 5,000 tons and /conversion 100 ships annually, achieving annual sales revenue of 3.3 billion yuan.
