Recently, the Changxing Marine Equipment Manufacturing Industry Innovation Studio Alliance was inaugurated at ZPMC Changxing Branch. Leaders and studio representatives from Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration, Chongming District Federation of Trade Unions, Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries, Jiangnan Shipyard, Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding, and COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Shanghai) attended the event.
During the event, Hu Xiaoyu, Chairman of the Trade Union and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Directly Affiliated Organs of Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration, together with Shi Jinxing, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Chongming District People’s Congress and Chairman of the District Federation of Trade Unions, unveiled the alliance.
The establishment of this alliance is a concrete measure to deeply implement the guiding principles of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on deepening the reform of the industrial workforce construction, to leverage the exemplary and leading role of model workers and craftsmen, and to broaden the growth channels for skilled talents. It marks the formal establishment and operation of a cross-enterprise, cross-field collaborative innovation platform for the Changxing marine equipment manufacturing industry. The alliance will effectively break down industry innovation barriers, integrate advantageous resources from maritime supervision, shipbuilding, marine engineering, and other fields, and build a collaborative innovation framework led by trade unions, supported by maritime services, driven by enterprises, and participated in by employees. This will further consolidate innovation synergy, activate creative momentum, and help the Changxing marine equipment industry steadily advance towards high-end, intelligent, and green development.
The first batch of studios in the alliance consists of 15 studios from 6 member units. These include five employee studios from the company: ZPMC Haifu (ZPMC Shipping) Employee Skills Innovation Studio, ZPMC Changxing Branch Xu Jianzhong Model Worker Innovation Studio, Wei Jun Model Worker Technical Innovation Studio, Wang Chuancun Technician Innovation Studio, and Zhang Ming Skill Master Studio. During the event, representatives from the six member units signed a co-construction agreement and engaged in exchange speeches and consensus-building on topics such as innovation studio construction, technical breakthroughs, talent cultivation, and成果 transformation, fully demonstrating the responsibility and commitment of model workers, frontline employees, and industrial workers in innovating and creating based on their positions.
