LD Armateurs will present its FRESH floating ammonia terminal concept at the Floating Energy Conference in London on 14 May.

Fulvio Astengo, head of business development, commercial and contract at LD Ports & Logistics, is scheduled to speak at 4:40pm (3:40pm GMT).

His presentation is titled ‘A novel floating ammonia energy storage terminal for offshore hydrogen and ammonia supply chains.’

LD Armateurs said the session will explore FRESH, described as a floating ammonia terminal, ammonia bunkering and hydrogen production platform.

The concept is designed to address the limitations of traditional onshore infrastructure and to support scalable ammonia and hydrogen logistics.

The talk will cover FRESH technical and safety innovations, potential deployment across various supply chain models, and the role of policy in accelerating the adoption of floating energy solutions.

LD Armateurs stated that the platform offers a practical look at how floating infrastructure could support a more flexible ammonia and hydrogen economy.
