A dead man was located earlier today at the port of Piraeus, with the circumstances of his death being investigated by the Coast Guard.
According to initial indications, it is an elderly man who was found near Gate 10 of the port. According to information, the unfortunate man was not carrying personal documents or any object that could assist in his identification.
The body, which was floating, was spotted by citizens who informed the Authorities, and was initially transported to Tzaneio Hospital. It is then expected to be transferred to the Piraeus Forensic Medical Service for examination to determine the causes of death of the unfortunate man.
