AD Ports Group and Masdar signed a Partnership Agreement on 24 November 2025 in Abu Dhabi to cooperate on the development and delivery of offshore wind projects, the company said in a news release.

The companies plan to identify opportunities where AD Ports Group can act as a key partner and contractor for Masdar’s global offshore wind initiatives and jointly define technical requirements for upcoming projects.

AD Ports Group may deploy capabilities that include the provision and fabrication of substations, onshore and offshore logistics, subsea services, and maintenance and operations support.

Captain Ammar Al Shaiba, CEO of the Maritime & Shipping Cluster at AD Ports Group, said the company is positioned to provide the technical solutions and operational support required for Masdar’s large-scale offshore wind projects, citing its integrated maritime and logistics capabilities and experience with complex projects.

Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, Chief Executive Officer of Masdar, stated that offshore wind is a critical component of clean energy development and that partnerships such as this agreement with AD Ports Group enable the company to expand its reach and support countries in meeting clean energy objectives.

Masdar has developed and operates several offshore wind projects in Europe, including the 476-megawatt Baltic Eagle project in Germany and the 1.4-gigawatt East Anglia THREE project in the UK.
