AD Ports Group has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to explore joint initiatives in digital trade, smart logistics, and the responsible automation of port operations across global markets, including the Middle East and North Africa.
The agreement combines AD Ports Group’s expertise in digitalisation, artificial intelligence, and smart port infrastructure with UNDP’s experience in governance and inclusive development.
The two organisations aim to strengthen trade ecosystems, improve supply chain transparency, and contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Cooperation will include the development of scalable digital platforms to enhance efficiency and interoperability in logistics and trade, the use of artificial intelligence to transform supply chain management and customs processes, and the promotion of Internet of Things (IoT) and automation technologies in port operations.
The parties also plan to conduct joint research, produce policy insights, and host conferences focused on digitalisation and sustainability in global trade.
