Gangavaram Port is introducing age limit for ships, applicable for both Indian and foreign flagged vessels calling at the port.
To encourage a younger fleet of vessels and to protect the environment, an additional differential pilotage charge as per the age of the vessel will be applicable for all vessels arriving in Gangavaram on or after 0001 hours on 1 November 2022.

The age of the vessel will be taken as per date of keel laid of vessel mentioned in ship’s /or any other certificate specifying the same will be required to be submitted at the time of declaration.
