The second cruise of the /2026 season arrived at Puerto Madryn, in Argentina. The Seaventure docked on the north side of the Comandante Luis Piedra Buena Pier, coming from the Port of Montevideo, Uruguay.
The arrival of the Polar Latitude Expeditions vessel is part of the policy to boost tourism and port activity carried out by the Government of Chubut, actively supporting each cruise call as part of a strategy that strengthens the local economy and positions the province as a gateway to Patagonia.
The vessel, 111 meters long and specially designed to navigate in polar regions, arrived with six guests and 103 crew members on board, but during its stay in the city of the Golfo Nuevo it will embark 103 passengers who will begin their journey south, bound for the Malvinas Islands.
The Seaventure stands out for its small size, which allows it to access ports and areas that other larger vessels cannot reach, offering an exclusive and personalized navigation experience.
In addition, it has modern facilities and a highly specialized crew in operations in extreme nature destinations, such as Antarctica and the South Atlantic.
“The presence of this type of vessel not only reflects the shipping companies’ confidence in the port infrastructure and services of the province, but also the consolidation of Chubut as a key destination within the expedition cruise itineraries in the southern hemisphere,” communicated the Puerto Madryn Port Authority.
