The Port Authority of Santos (APS) delivered this Thursday, October 17, new vehicles to the Port Guard of the Port of Santos.
“The Port Guard is responsible for the security of the Port of Santos and works in support of the Port Captaincy and the Federal and Civil Police, and needs to have the best equipment for its service,” states the president of APS, Anderson Pomini.
In addition to being new, the vehicles also feature a new visual identity, which aims to revive the colors historically used by the corporation (brown and black). Soon there will also be a redesign of the Port Guard’s posts and buildings.
There are 17 vehicles in total, used for preventive policing and port traffic, namely: Seven Jeep Commanders, eight Fiat Titano Pick Ups, and two Intelligence vehicles.
The Port Guard also has four motorcycles, a Tow Truck, a Traffic Signaling truck, and a Van for the Mobile Service Unit.
