Bilbao PortLab, the innovation hub of the port of Bilbao, has been the setting for the final demonstration of two projects funded in the second call of the Ports 4.0 Fund, financed by Puertos del Estado. The initiatives developed by Navozyme Maritime Technologies and CLCircular have demonstrated their technological advances applied to the port sector, reinforcing the commitment to digitalization and process efficiency in the logistics community.
Navozyme has presented Nswap, a solution that digitalizes Marpol and allows for secure real-time data exchange between service providers, crew, consignee agents, and Port Authorities. The project has had the collaboration of Tradebe & Alphaship Shipping Agency and the support of Puertos del Estado and the Port Authorities. For its part, CLCircular, whose project has concluded successfully, achieving all the set objectives, has presented its most relevant milestones, such as the redesign of its cloud platform, the launch of a new generation of IoT sensors, and the technical validations carried out on batteries and sensors. These advances have made it possible to establish a fast, efficient, and profitable flow in the reverse logistics of its IoT sensors in more than 400 destinations.
