The Prince Rupert Port Authority (PRPA) announced structural updates and additions to its executive team. The move seeks to consolidate the entity’s objective to facilitate Canadian trade and offer reliable and sustainable gateway operations.

According to the PRPA, the renewed structure is designed to strengthen leadership in key functions and support the institution’s priorities.

“This management team brings the experience, strong leadership and capacity we need to support the continued growth of trade through the Port of Prince Rupert,” said Kurt Slocombe, President and CEO of the Prince Rupert Port Authority.

“Together, we will focus on safe and efficient operations, strong partnerships and the long-term success of this important port for the benefit of the community and the country,” Slocombe stated.

The management team is composed of Agnes Piotrowski as Chief Financial Officer; Shelby O’Brien as Vice President of Indigenous Relations, Human Resources and Regulatory Affairs; Will Pederson as Chief Operating Officer; Heather Ash as Vice President of Communications, Community Relations and General Counsel; and Travis Bernhardt as Vice President of Infrastructure and Sustainability.
