On July 8, the Baiyun District Committee held a rural work conference and a progress meeting on the in-depth implementation of the “High-Quality Development Project for Hundreds of Counties, Thousands of Towns, and Tens of Thousands of Villages.” It was reported that since the launch of the “Hundreds, Thousands, Tens of Thousands Project,” Baiyun District has actively guided various forces to participate in joint development. Central state-owned construction enterprises in the district have responded enthusiastically to the call of the district committee and government, leveraging their professional expertise to efficiently advance project implementation.
Wu Weijun, General Manager of CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Bureau First Engineering Co., Ltd. and a representative of Baiyun District’s construction enterprises, stated that to date, the company has participated in 25 district-level “Hundreds, Thousands, Tens of Thousands” construction projects. These initiatives have effectively addressed multiple public livelihood pain points, significantly enhanced the regional landscape, and injected new vitality into rural development:
– The Yahu Village section of the Renhe Town Beautiful Riverway Project involved constructing riverside viewing plazas, embankment retaining walls, waterfront railings, and cultural sculptures, meeting the daily recreational and educational needs of nearby residents while providing flexible event space for festivals and hosting the Yahu Dragon Boat Culture Festival.
– The Taihe Town Cultural Plaza Facade Renovation Project resolved issues such as outdated exteriors and damaged clock towers in the surrounding commercial area, revitalizing the town center and boosting public happiness. This project exemplifies the practical implementation of the “Hundreds, Thousands, Tens of Thousands Project” to support rural revitalization.
– The Upgrade and Renovation Project of Nancun Village Middle Road to Mazitang Ancestral Hall Section in Longgui Street was the first completed “Hundreds, Thousands, Tens of Thousands Project” under the Baiyun District’s central enterprise pairing assistance program. The improved road facilitates tourist access to core landmarks, providing strong support for Nancun’s rural tourism development.
– The Hard-Surface Expansion and Renovation Project of Datian Village’s Shangtang West Road and the Widening and Hard-Surfacing Project of Shangla Road in Jianggao Town optimized the village’s road network, paving a “Road to Happiness” and a “Road to Prosperity” for rural revitalization, earning unanimous praise from villagers. The Jianggao Town Tangbei Drainage Beautiful Riverway Upgrade Project enhanced the overall image, improving infrastructure for surrounding office, commercial, and residential areas.
