During the elections that took place on Monday, October 6, 2025, for the selection of the new Administrative Board, and after the current president of the Union, Mr. Andreas Chatzigiannis, completed his “cycle” at the helm of the CEP, the new president elected was Mr. Polys V. Chatzioannou. Mr. Chatzioannou will assume his new duties in the coming period.
The Deputy Minister of Shipping of Cyprus, Marina Chatzimanoli, was also present at the Assembly, who in her speech congratulated the members of the b.o.d. and assured them once again that the government of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, stands by the industry’s side, taking seriously the suggestions and problems of the shipping community.
