Recently, Wuhan Changjiang Ship Design Institute successfully won the bid for the ship construction design service of the micro-vacation cruise ship construction project of Yichang Jiaoyun Three Gorges Cruise Co., Ltd. This is another high-end five-star cruise product created for the company after its provincial inter-provincial vacation cruise ship construction design project.
The project takes Three Gorges culture as its soul, green technology as its backbone, and vacation experience as its form as the top-level design guideline. It deeply aligns with the characteristics of the Three Gorges water area, cultural tourism demands, and inland river ship industry regulations, integrating the three core elements of regional culture, low-carbon technology, and light luxury vacation. It breaks through the design dilemma of homogenization in traditional tourist ships, creating a new generation of inland river micro-vacation cruise ships suitable for short-term water living in the Three Gorges, possessing cultural depth, green attributes, and exclusive experiences. It practices the concept of high-quality, sustainable water cultural tourism development, setting a new benchmark for high-end micro-vacation cruise ships.
Changjiang Ship Design Institute consistently adheres to the design concept of green intelligence and cultural integration. This ship closely follows the ecological protection policy requirements of the Yangtze River basin, adopting a diesel-electric hybrid power system consisting of diesel generator sets and marine lithium iron phosphate batteries, paired with a full set of green environmental protection supporting technologies and intelligent control systems. It uses modern green ship technology to support the overall positioning of the cruise ship as comfortable, environmentally friendly, efficient, and intelligent, balancing the relationship between cultural tourism development and ecological protection. Taking vacation experience as its form, it innovates the living and travel model, creating a light luxury exclusive carrier. It abandons the traditional tourist ship design model of high-density passenger capacity and single sightseeing, adopting a low-density passenger layout. With light luxury vacation as the product form, it caters to the needs of tourists of all ages, creating a differentiated and exclusive immersive water vacation experience.
The implementation of this project will further practice the green and efficient design concept of Changjiang Ship Design Institute, help promote the development of all-for-one tourism, build a “fast travel, slow stay” service system, and work together with Yichang Jiaoyun Three Gorges Cruise Group Co., Ltd. to promote the development of a new generation of high-end cruise ships in the Three Gorges area. Looking ahead, the company will continue to leverage its professional design advantages, deepen coordination and cooperation with industry partners, and create more high-quality inland river cultural tourism cruise ship products, contributing to the prosperity and development of the national water tourism industry.
