China Eastern Air Logistics Launches Direct “Shanghai-Paris” Cargo Route

On the morning of November 20 local time, China Cargo Airlines flight CK203, operated by China Eastern Air Logistics, arrived smoothly at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in France, marking the official commencement of operations for China Eastern Air Logistics’ “Shanghai-Paris” direct cargo route.

Guo Lijun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Eastern Air Logistics, stated that the group’s all-cargo aircraft routes already cover multiple European cargo hubs such as Amsterdam and Frankfurt, while its passenger aircraft belly-hold network extends to nearly 20 major European cities. Through ground truck services and partnerships with foreign airlines, China Eastern Air Logistics’ reach in Europe now exceeds 100 destination cities. The official operation of the “Shanghai-Paris” route will further promote smooth trade and industrial integration between the two countries. He expressed hope to use this as an opportunity to engage in deeper and broader cooperation with partners and jointly outline a grander blueprint for China-Europe economic and trade exchanges.

Édouard Mathieu, Vice President of Development and Cooperation at Groupe ADP, extended a warm congratulations on the launch of China Eastern Air Logistics’ “Shanghai-Paris” route. He stated that they would fully support the development of China Eastern Air Logistics’ business in Europe and looked forward to the route playing a positive role in promoting exchanges and cooperation between enterprises of the two countries.
