On June 25, 2026, China Merchants Ro-Ro and Anji International Logistics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Anji International) signed a strategic cooperation agreement on international car carrier shipping capacity in Shanghai. Zhuang Jingxiong, General Manager of SAIC Anji Logistics Co., Ltd., and Sun Jianfeng, Deputy General Manager of China Merchants Energy Shipping and Chairman of China Merchants Ro-Ro, witnessed the signing.
Xin Jianmin, Deputy General Manager of SAIC Anji Logistics Co., Ltd., and Liu Rusong, General Manager of China Merchants Ro-Ro, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.
According to the agreement, both parties will commit to building a cooperation model featuring complementary advantages and mutual benefit, focusing on the core business of international car carrier ro-ro, deepening cooperation in capacity sharing, improving operational efficiency and support capabilities, jointly exploring green and low-carbon innovation pathways, and providing customers with a better service experience.
Before the signing ceremony, representatives of both parties visited the China Merchants Steam Navigation Company Building at No. 9 The Bund and held working talks. The discussions focused on the domestic automobile export situation, global ro-ro route layout, and deepening business collaboration. Both parties stated that they will continue to consolidate the foundation of cooperation, broaden the areas of cooperation, jointly smooth the logistics channels for Chinese-brand automobiles going overseas, and jointly promote the high-quality international development of China’s automobile industry.
Relevant responsible persons from Anji International, as well as relevant responsible persons from the Supply Chain Management Department and Operations Management Department of China Merchants Ro-Ro, attended the event.
