Dry bulk operators often make cargo readiness decisions while juggling voyage instructions, supplier coordination and vessel updates across multiple systems. A new integration between CleanQuote and Sedna aims to bring vessel cleaning data directly into operational workflows, giving ship managers faster access to hold conditions, hull inspection records and cleaning requests without leaving their communications platform.

Vessel cleaning remains one of the most operationally important tasks that still relies heavily on fragmented communication and manual follow-up. Questions around hold condition, onboard inventory and hull cleaning status can affect cargo acceptance, inspection readiness and voyage scheduling, yet the information is often spread across emails, spreadsheets and separate software platforms.

That operational friction is what CleanQuote and Sedna are aiming to address through a new Certified Partner App that places CleanQuote’s cleaning and inspection data directly inside Sedna’s workflow environment.

The application allows operators to access hold photographs, onboard inventory status, hull condition reports and active cleaning requests from within the same panel used to manage voyage instructions and operational communications. Users can also initiate cleaning requests through CleanQuote’s supplier network without leaving the platform.

The integration is designed to reduce delays caused by switching between systems or waiting for follow-up information from vessels and suppliers.

According to the companies, the data displayed in the app is collected regularly from masters, allowing operators to access current operational information while handling chartering and voyage execution tasks.

“Operators don’t need another system to log into, they need their existing day to work better,” said Mads Porsborg, Managing Director of CleanQuote. “Vessel cleaning is one task in a long day of tasks, and it usually gets squeezed. Putting live inventory and hold photos right in the Sedna side panel means the context is there when the decisions are being made, not buried in your inbox.”

CleanQuote said the application is now available to Sedna users as a Certified Partner App. Existing CleanQuote customers will retain access to the same subscription features through the integration, while Sedna users can trial the platform through a two-month free offer.
