Clive Palmer: “The Titanic II will finally set sail from Southampton in 2027!”, reviving the historic voyage of the RMS Titanic with modern safety features and cutting-edge technology.

Australian billionaire Clive Palmer has struck again, after announcing once more that the Titanic II will sail from Southampton to New York in 2027.

The project, first announced in 2012, has seen many delays, but Palmer now claims that construction will begin next year. His company, Blue Star Line, is said to be gathering proposals from naval architects and shipyards to once again build the legendary ship RMS Titanic.

The ship is expected to include all modern safety features and advanced navigation systems. The ship will follow the original route exactly, stopping at Cherbourg before heading to New York.

Palmer said that each cabin will include a panel detailing the history of the passenger who was in the corresponding cabin in 1912, while passengers will be given period costumes to recreate the historic journey.

A new deck will also be added to correct the visibility problems that existed on the navigation bridge. Despite years of skepticism and stalled plans, Palmer insists that the Titanic II will become a reality this time.

Therefore, we can do nothing but wait to see the faithful replica of the legendary Titanic make its transatlantic voyage once again.
