Cruise ship overnight stays in the port of Cádiz have grown by 11.8% compared to November 2024. To date, 65 cruise ships have spent the night in the city, 10 more than the previous year at this same time. The cruise ship that has spent the most nights in the port of Cádiz so far this year has been the BELLE DE CADIX with a total of 37 overnight stays.
The total number of passengers who have spent a night in Cádiz so far this year has been 30,322, which compared to the 24,183 cruise passengers who stayed overnight until November 2024 represents an increase of 12.5%. In this regard, the cruise with the most passengers that has overnighted in Cádiz is the MSC MUSICA 4460 with 3,259 cruise passengers. For the remainder of the year, 7 more cruise overnight stays are expected, which would mean a total of 72 ships overnighting in 2025, 12 more than in 2024.
Regarding the economic impact of these overnight stays, taking into account the latest study carried out by the Junta de Andalucía (2016) on cruise tourism in the region, the total expenditure so far this year would exceed 2,460,000 euros
