With the successful completion of the bench test and final assembly of the world’s first 7X82DF-M-1.0-HPSCR methanol dual-fuel engine, CSSC Power (Chuan Dong Li) recently completed its annual production tasks ahead of schedule. In 2025, CSSC Power’s total production output reached a new historical high. It is estimated that the number of low-speed engines produced and the total power output for the full year will increase by 23.7% and 12.5% year-on-year respectively, while the number of medium- and high-speed engines produced and their total power output will increase by 56.4% and 26.2% year-on-year respectively.
Over the past year, adhering to its mission of “Intelligent Power, Serving the Nation through Industry”, CSSC Power has fully leveraged its integrated advantages in independent R&D, efficient manufacturing, and professional services. It has focused on building new quality productive forces and, through innovation-driven approaches, promoted the green power transformation. In 2025, CSSC Power successfully delivered a series of world or domestic first-built dual-fuel engine products, including the 10X92DF-M-1.0-LPSCR self-developed methanol engine, the 12G95ME-C10.5-LGIM-EGRTC methanol engine, the 6G60ME-C9.5-GIE-HPSCR ethane engine, and the 8ML320DF self-developed natural gas engine, leading the industry’s high-end, green, and intelligent transformation.
Simultaneously, CSSC Power successfully achieved the on-site delivery of its first high-power commercial nuclear power reactor EDG project, completed the domestic development of the 6DE28DF dual-fuel engine, and realized the ammonia-mode operation of China’s first self-developed 520mm bore low-speed engine technology integration verification platform, enhancing the company’s development potential and market competitiveness. It successfully developed key core components such as the G95 methanol engine cylinder liner and the 14MV320 large-bore medium-speed engine block, established the world’s first intelligent production line for low-speed engine piston heads, ensuring the autonomy, controllability, security, and stability of the supply chain. Significant results were achieved in lean management projects, including the CSSC Group awarding the Low-Speed Engine Lean Assembly Demonstration Zone, a substantial reduction in the test bed cycle time for the X72 typical model, and the completion of the L23 pulse production line, providing a solid guarantee for the on-time delivery of orders.
On the new journey, CSSC Power will continue to grasp the trends of green and low-carbon development and its favorable production, operation, and development momentum. It will strive to advance the company’s high-quality development, concluding the “14th Five-Year Plan” with outstanding achievements and welcoming the “15th Five-Year Plan”, moving forward diligently to build a world-class power enterprise.
