After a week of festive events, on Saturday, July 5, 2025, the closing ceremony of the Naval Week 2025 took place. The ceremony was held at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, in the presence of the Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff Vice Admiral Dimitrios-Eleftherios Katara HN, who also represented the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff General Dimitrios Choupis.
During the ceremony, the Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff delivered a greeting and subsequently presented commemorative plaques to the sponsors of Naval Week 2025.
Attending the ceremony were the 3rd Vice President of the Hellenic Parliament Mr. Athanasios Bouras as the representative of the President of the Hellenic Parliament, the Deputy Minister of the Interior Mr. Vasileios-Petros Spanakis, the Member of Parliament Mr. Dionysios Chatzidakis, the Chief of the Hellenic Coast Guard Vice Admiral HC Trifon Kontizas, representatives of the Chiefs of the General Staffs and Security Forces, members of the Supreme Naval Council, members of the broader maritime community, as well as other invited guests.
