On November 13th, the naming ceremony for the 64,000 deadweight ton bulk carrier “Metis Stellar” (DE163), built by Dalian COSCO SHIPPING Kawasaki for Danish shipping company NORDEN, was successfully held. As the fifth high-end bulk carrier of the same type under the cooperative framework of both parties, the successful naming of this vessel marks another significant achievement in their in-depth cooperation in the fields of green shipbuilding and intelligent shipping.

At the ceremony, the godmother, Ms. Andreani Limperopoulou, named the DE163 the “Metis Stellar” and cut the rope. After the naming and delivery, the vessel will set sail fully loaded with blessings, embarking on a safe and smooth ocean journey.
