By joint initiative of the Ministries of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports and Shipping and Island Policy, discounts of up to 50% on ferry tickets for substitute teachers of Primary and Secondary Education are announced, in order for them to travel to their placement area, within the framework of assuming their duties.
In particular, the following discounts are provided:
The necessary documents for granting the discount are the relevant decision of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports stating the hiring of the substitute teachers, as well as the Police Identity Card.
