MV “Erdogan”

MV “Conquest”

Entering the second half of the year, the ship repair division of CSSC Guangxi Company, under China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), has demonstrated full enthusiasm and efficient execution by delivering two vessels and welcoming four new ships into the yard. This marks a strong start to completing the third quarter’s production targets.

Two Vessels Delivered

On July 3, the MV “Erdogan” was successfully delivered. During the repair process, the project team employed a “dual-crane lifting” method, significantly improving hoisting efficiency and ensuring the timely completion of hatch cover rust removal and reinstallation, ultimately guaranteeing the vessel’s on-schedule delivery.

On July 7, the MV “Conquest” was delivered as planned. Despite heavy rainfall, the team adopted a “modular segmented construction approach,” simultaneously advancing hull painting and shaft/rudder system maintenance. This ensured the vessel’s punctual delivery, earning the shipowner’s approval and providing valuable experience for future repairs of similar vessels.

Four Vessels Enter the Yard

MV “Kaisheng Light”

On July 3, the MV “Kaisheng Light” entered the yard for scheduled repairs. The project team developed a detailed repair plan, coordinating spare parts procurement and construction arrangements in parallel, laying a solid foundation for efficient repair operations.

MV “Haisheng”

On July 4, the MV “Haisheng” safely docked at the company’s pier. Facing challenges of limited berth space and extreme docking conditions, the ship repair division led the project team in coordinating on-site efforts to ensure safe and efficient mooring. The team promptly commenced engineering inspections, earning praise from the shipowner for their swift and decisive work.

MV “Su-Gan Fishery 00001”

On July 5, the MV “Su-Gan Fishery 00001” entered the yard, marking the official launch of the company’s deep-sea large-scale intelligent aquaculture vessel conversion project. With a length of 250 meters and a width of 46 meters, this vessel represents the largest repair and conversion project undertaken by the company to date, filling a technical gap in deep-sea aquaculture equipment modifications.

On July 9, the MV “Xinchen Dayun” arrived at the yard as scheduled. The project team has devised a comprehensive plan focusing on oil tank cleaning and SCR system modifications to ensure the vessel’s completion and delivery by mid-August.
