Dredging Corporation wins Rs 60 crore work at Numaligarh Refinery

Mumbai-listed Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCI) has won a Rs60 crore contract from Numaligarh Refinery Ltd (NRL) for reclamation dredging at its crude oil import terminal (COIT) at Paradip Port, the company said.

Mumbai-listed Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCI) has won a Rs 60 crore contract from Numaligarh Refinery Ltd (NRL) for reclamation dredging at its crude oil import terminal (COIT) at Paradip Port, the company said.

The work involves transportation and pumping of dredged material from the sand trap at Paradip Port to the crude oil import terminal of NRL for the year 2022-23.

The NRL contract will boost Dredging Corporation’s efforts to earn revenue of Rs1,000 crores in the fiscal year that began in April.

Visakhapatnam-based Dredging Corporation of India is 73.47 percent owned by four State-owned major ports – Visakhapatnam Port Authority, Paradip Port Authority, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority and Deendayal Port Authority.
