In a bold move to reshape the future of maritime leadership, Anglo-Eastern Univan Group has launched Mission 30, an ambitious initiative designed to fast-track young officers into management roles. The goal is simple yet groundbreaking: to have 30% of its management-level officers (including Captains, Chief Officers, Chief Engineers, and Second Engineers) under the age of 30 by 2030.

This initiative comes at a time when the maritime industry faces rapid technological advancements, and the demand for highly skilled and adaptable professionals has never been greater. Through Mission 30, Anglo-Eastern is setting the stage for a new generation of maritime leaders. The program provides personalized career development, specialized training, and mentorship, offering young officers the opportunity to take on leadership roles earlier in their careers and navigate the challenges of modern technologies like dual-fuel systems, AI integration, and smart ships.

With over 5,000 operational-level officers already participating, Mission 30 aims to cultivate a workforce that not only meets the demands of today’s maritime industry but is also prepared to lead it into the future.
