Elettronica Marittima presented new solutions for the naval domain at Seafuture

La Spezia – At Seafuture 2025, Elettronica Marittima confirmed its evolution from a historical naval electronics company to a technological player in the defense sector. With over forty years of activity, the SME from Bosco Mesola (Ferrara) showcased a series of innovations born from its Ferrara research center and developed for naval, land platforms, and for Special Forces.

Among the most significant novelties was Rolem, the new fiber optic antenna remote control system, designed to eliminate signal loss over long internal ship runs and increase personnel safety in land command posts. The system allows the control station to be separated from the antenna while maintaining high transmission efficiency, an aspect increasingly central to the operational management of military units and dual-use vehicles. It is a solution also conceived for new-generation naval units, where space and electromagnetic efficiency are critical factors.

Alongside Rolem, the company presented the Evo-A-Sat 8P antenna family, usable in portable or “at-the-pause” configurations, compatible with the Muos network and now equipped with an integrated Lnas amplifier. This line derives from the handheld Rrao model, developed together with the Italian Army’s 185th Parachute Reconnaissance and Target Acquisition Regiment, a sign of the close collaboration between the SME and the operational sector.

In the field of software, Elettronica Marittima showed the latest version of the Em-Ars system, an automatic reporting solution conceived for maritime police forces, drastically reducing operational times and the risk of human error. It is a technology that, although born for the military sphere, can also be applied to the civil and port sector, in activities such as traffic monitoring or coastal infrastructure security. The software is capable of compiling the report largely autonomously, for example by automatically inserting the location, date, and time. By scanning identity documents or bringing the electronic identity card close to the reader, it can transcribe the data of the person in command of the stopped unit and of all the people on board in a few seconds, without having to wait for manual transcription times.

Another technical novelty was the Mod-Evo-A-Alpipar amplifier, developed for the 4th Alpini Parachutist Regiment, with a contained weight of 820 grams, power up to 20W and integrated functions such as Lna, dual antenna switch and Swr meter.

Beyond products, Elettronica Marittima showcased its capabilities in onboard systems integration, ranging from predictive electromagnetic modeling – useful for verifying the compatibility between radars, antennas, and onboard equipment from the very beginning of the project – to real field measurement via the Andromeda system, based on drones. This approach allows for direct measurement of the efficiency of installed radio systems, reducing testing times and improving the overall performance of naval and land platforms.

Many of the presented products stem from a policy of continuous investment in research and development and a strong link with the academic world, which has allowed the company to develop proprietary solutions with high technological content and fully integrable with NATO systems.
