Elomatic has signed an agreement to install Elogrid™ flow control technology on all XL-class cruise ships of the company.
The agreement covers nine retrofit installations and two newbuilds. The installations will begin in fall 2025 and continue according to scheduled dry dockings until 2028.
According to Elomatic, Elogrid delivers measurable benefits in key areas for cruise ships, both in newbuilds and retrofit installations: it reduces fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions while improving vessel maneuverability compared to traditional solutions. This supports safe and efficient vessel operations.
