Exhibition Technical Highlights
During the exhibition, Eltronic FuelTech will focus on showcasing two core elements: firstly, future marine fuel solutions such as methanol and ammonia, designed specifically for the green transition of shipping; and secondly, a full-scale Gas Valve Train (GVT) for liquefied natural gas (LNG) fuel operation. Visitors can observe the equipment details up close and gain a deep understanding of how the technology enhances the safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of ship operations.
● GVT: The Core Power System for Clean Shipping
Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is a key transitional fuel for the maritime industry. Compared to traditional fossil fuels, it has cleaner emissions, higher reliability, and can be adapted with renewable energy sources to ensure stable energy supply. By building LNG infrastructure, the shipping industry can achieve immediate emission reductions while paving the way for the future application of carbon-neutral synthetic natural gas (eLNG).
Eltronic FuelTech’s GVT safely controls the delivery of methane from the gas supply system to the engine: during normal or emergency shutdowns, it can immediately cut off the gas supply and safely vent residual gas, ensuring safe and reliable ship operations at sea.
● GVT Tenth Anniversary Milestone of Commercial Operation
In 2015, Eltronic FuelTech’s first GVT entered commercial operation, not only marking a new journey for the company’s ship propulsion technology but also becoming a key milestone in the global shipping industry’s transition to clean fuel systems. Over the past decade, driven by shipowners and engine manufacturers’ demand for “reliable and future-proof” fuel systems, the market demand for GVT has grown exponentially. Cumulative orders now exceed 800 sets, with over 400 sets already in operation at sea.
