On November 11, the 11500 TEU dual-fuel container ship, built by Changhong International for Mediterranean Shipping Company and equipped with Shuangrui Environment’s GasLink® ship LNG fuel gas supply system (FGSS), successfully returned from its sea trial. During the trial, the system operated stably with all indicators accurately meeting standards, earning high praise from the shipowner and shipyard. To date, the company has successfully delivered nearly 40 sets of FGSS, with every step in the commissioning process passing in a single attempt, demonstrating the company’s leading position in the field of marine clean energy supply systems.
During the sea trial, whether for continuous gas supply during normal ship navigation or dynamic adjustments under extreme scenarios such as sudden changes in main engine load or emergency shutdowns, the FGSS system responded quickly, maintaining stable fuel gas pressure within the optimal range. The power output of the main and auxiliary engines remained smooth throughout, perfectly matching the various power demands during the ship’s voyage. Particularly in multiple tests simulating extreme sea conditions and sudden gas fluctuations, the system, leveraging its proprietary algorithm for precise regulation, controlled the pressure fluctuation of the high and low pressure buffer tanks within 0.1 bar, demonstrating exceptional system stability.
Furthermore, in response to Changhong International’s requirement to “improve construction efficiency,” the company established a key account delivery team and developed a customized solution based on the technical characteristics of the FGSS. While strictly adhering to technical standards, measures such as upgrading the intelligent judgment algorithm for pre-purging alarm tests significantly reduced the commissioning cycle to 15 days, helping the shipyard further shorten the construction period.
