Euroseas Ltd., an owner and operator of container carrier vessels and a provider of seaborne transportation for containerized cargoes, announced a new time charter contract for its feeder vessel M/V Jonathan P, built in 2006 with a capacity of 1,740 TEU.
The agreement will have a minimum duration of 11 months and a maximum of 12 months, at the charterer’s option, at a gross daily rate of USD 25,000, in direct continuation of the current contract, representing an increase of USD 5,000 per day compared to the vessel’s current rate.
The new charter period will commence on November 17, 2025, and is expected to contribute approximately USD 5.65 million in EBITDA during the minimum contracted period.
According to the shipping company, this agreement will raise the fleet’s charter coverage to 100% for the remainder of 2025 and to approximately 70% in 2026.
