Investments totaling $358.9 million
Taiwan Area, Chinese container shipping company Evergreen
announced investments of USD 358.9 million for
the purchase of 140,500 new containers produced in China. The most
of $128.1 million, is in the

containers with a total value of 80.7 million dollars were
were ordered from CXIC Group Containers Co. Another order
against China International Marine Containers (Group)
Co. (CIMC) relates to 30,000 containers for a total of 72.6
million dollars. Finally, to Guangdong Fuwa Equipment
Manufacturing Co. has ordered 29,000 containers for
over $77.5 million.
