With the ships of Hellenic Seaways, the Group provided free transportation of firefighting forces and equipment, supporting the firefighting effort. Specifically, 47 firefighters and 16 vehicles were transported from Piraeus, as well as 19 firefighters with 4 vehicles from Mytilene, in order to immediately reinforce operations on the island.
This initiative is part of the steadfast commitment of Attica Group, whose CEO is Panos Dikaios, to support local communities, especially in times of emergency.
The Group emphasized that it will continue to contribute with every available means to crisis management, reaffirming its social role and unwavering dedication to the protection and prosperity of the country’s islands.
