China News Network Quanzhou, October 10 (Huang Wenxing) On the 10th, the Singapore-registered vessel “Meizan” carrying 6,000 tons of soybean oil slowly departed from the Xiaocuo Port Logistics Terminal in Quanzhou, exporting to India. This marks the first export of soybean oil from the Quanzhou port, achieving a “zero breakthrough” for Quanzhou’s soybean oil exports and opening a new path for the foreign trade development of the regional grain and oil industry.
It is reported that the exported soybean oil originated from Quanzhou Fuhai Grain and Oil Industrial Co., Ltd. The company currently operates a soybean crushing plant, a crude oil refinery, a small packaging workshop, a rice workshop, and a palm oil fractionation workshop, with an annual production of over 2 million tons of grain and oil. It is a key leading agricultural industrialization enterprise in Fujian Province.
To ensure smooth customs clearance for this first export, the Xiaocuo Border Inspection Station intervened in advance. Through the police-enterprise liaison mechanism, they proactively connected with the enterprise and the ship agent, promptly grasped the ship’s dynamics, and tailored a “one ship, one policy” clearance plan. They implemented service measures such as “online reporting,” “appointment processing,” and 24-hour customs clearance, achieving “operation upon berthing and departure after completion of loading,” which minimized the ship’s port stay time and enhanced the business efficiency of the enterprise.
