On May 12, Zhangjiagang Furui Group subsidiary Furui Cryogenic and the Italian shipping registry RINA officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation at the Furui Group headquarters. The two parties will focus on technological innovation and certification services for LNG fuel tanks on luxury cruise ships, jointly promoting the upgrade of the global green shipping industry.
Furui Group Chairman Huang Feng and RINA Greater China and Vietnam Maritime Operations Director Fan Dehong attended the signing ceremony, representing both parties in completing the signing and jointly witnessing this important industry moment.
As a leading enterprise in the cryogenic equipment field, Furui Cryogenic holds a leading position in the high-end luxury cruise LNG fuel tank market. It has exclusively supplied fuel tanks for the MSC Explora luxury cruise series and possesses mature production processes and full industry chain solution capabilities. RINA has extensive experience in green shipping and luxury cruise certification, with strong technical and industry resource advantages.
This cooperation will achieve complementary advantages between the two parties. Relying on Furui Cryogenic’s R&D and production strength, combined with RINA’s professional certification capabilities, it will optimize the LNG fuel tank construction and certification process, provide efficient product solutions, sort out industry standards, lead the standardized and efficient development of the luxury cruise LNG fuel tank field, and assist the global shipping industry’s green and low-carbon transformation.
Both parties stated that in the future, they will take this cooperation as an opportunity to deepen technical synergy and R&D collaboration, break through industry development bottlenecks, jointly build a new clean energy shipping ecosystem, and write a new chapter in the development of the luxury cruise clean energy field.
