El Puerto del Pireo (Greece) received the Diversity Label for the first time, a distinction awarded by the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family Affairs. The certification recognizes companies that promote equality and inclusion in the workplace.
According to the Piraeus Port Authority (PPA SA), “this initiative recognizes companies that move from commitment to action, applying inclusion in their daily business practice through transparent procedures, equal opportunities, accessible processes, and fair treatment of their employees.”
“PPA SA ranked first among the 41 companies that received the Diversity Label, according to the chronological order of application submission. For PPA SA, this distinction confirms the company’s constant commitment to creating a modern, safe, and inclusive work environment, where all employees are treated with respect and have equal opportunities for their professional development and growth,” it was added in the publication.
In this regard, the CEO of PPA SA, Su Xudong, stated that “the Diversity Label is a great honor for PPA SA and, at the same time, an important recognition of our efforts to strengthen equality, inclusion, and respect in the workplace. For us, diversity is not just a value, but an essential element of a modern and responsible company. Our goal is to continue creating a work environment where every person feels they have a place, a voice, and equal opportunities,” Xudong concluded.
