As of July 31, the shipping company of China Energy Investment Corporation completed a monthly cargo transportation volume of 26.355 million tons, exceeding the monthly target by 755,000 tons. Since the peak summer period began, the company’s freight volume has continued to rise, setting new historical records for three consecutive months. The average daily transportation volume reached 861,000 tons, an increase of 152,000 tons compared to the pre-campaign period and 67,000 tons year-on-year. During this period, the company’s single-day ship loading volume exceeded 1.3 million tons, with over 210 seagoing vessels operating simultaneously. Various indicators repeatedly reached new highs, laying a solid foundation for successfully achieving the peak summer targets set by the group, making up for the annual deficit, and accomplishing the full-year transportation tasks.

Since the peak summer period, China Energy Shipping has seized the favorable opportunity of integrated high-efficiency operations and the internal power plants’ efforts to increase and stabilize power generation, focusing on the annual target to boost incremental gains and offset deficits. By leveraging “internal supply assurance + external expansion + capacity optimization,” the company coordinated efforts around high-level safety, efficient operations, and high-quality development, narrowing the transportation volume deficit and making up a cumulative deficit of 5.213 million tons. Among these, the annual coal transportation volume exceeded the 150 million mark, with a cumulative deficit recovery of 2.586 million tons and an average daily recovery of 42,000 tons. During this period, the company focused on improving quality and efficiency, collaborating with Huanghua Port to optimize ship operation processes and launching the “Peak Summer, One Ship Efficiency Improvement by One Hour” campaign to enhance port-shipping synergy. It scientifically coordinated the matching of production factors such as “transport capacity, cargo sources, and demand,” using data analysis to precisely align transport resources with cargo demand, thereby improving the quality and efficiency of integrated distribution. Leveraging its fleet advantages, the company flexibly secured high-quality cargo orders in the market, continuously attracting high-value customers to ensure a balance between volume and price. Through multiple measures, it expanded external market space, completing a cumulative external market cargo loading volume of 8.538 million tons.

At the same time, China Energy Shipping closely monitored the typhoon season, strengthening ship safety inspections, typhoon emergency drills, and duty spot checks. It improved contingency plans for extreme weather such as typhoons and actively carried out typhoon prevention work for Typhoon No. 1 “Butterfly,” Typhoon No. 4 “Danas,” Typhoon No. 6 “Wipha,” and Typhoon No. 8 “Bamboo Grass,” ensuring safe and stable ship operations.
