Vessel Deliveries and Contracts: Striving for Excellence
Sumec Marine continuously strengthened its shipbuilding capabilities, accelerating construction speed at its Xinyang Shipbuilding base and improving dock productivity. It successfully delivered methanol dual-fuel feeder container ships, Crown 63 3.0 bulk carriers, and 41,000 DWT handy-size bulk carriers, achieving an average delivery time 2.5 months ahead of contractual schedules, earning market acclaim.
Sumec Marine actively explored industry demands, optimizing its product and market structures while expanding its share in the Japanese market. The company officially entered the MR product tanker construction sector, achieving full coverage of the three mainstream vessel types: tankers, bulk carriers, and container ships. Currently, Xinyang Shipyard’s production schedule extends to 2028, with 63 Crown 63 3.0 bulk carriers in its order book, further enhancing the “Crown” brand’s reputation and market recognition.
