Indonesia’s Pertamina is looking to buy more October 2500ppm sulphur gasoil and jet fuel deliveries, totalling 1.2 million barrels, via two spot tenders, a document reviewed by Reuters showed.
The tender for gasoil closed at 1000 local time (0300 GMT), while the tender for jet fuel closes at 1400 local time.
Both tenders were issued by the firm’s trading arm Pertamina Patra Niaga and have a validity time till October 6.
The refiner closed a tender to buy 1.1 million barrels of gasoil yesterday, with some traders saying they bought less than what they needed.
For gasoil, the state-owned oil major is seeking five 200,000-barrel cargoes for delivery to Tuban, Tanjung Uban and Pulau Laut on October 9-26, as well as one 100,000-barrel cargo for delivery to Jakarta on October 22-24.
For jet fuel, Pertamina is seeking to buy one 100,000-barrel cargo for delivery to Jakarta on October 22-24.
Pertamina Patra Niaga did not immediately respond to a Reuters query for comment.
The company last sought July 10ppm sulphur gasoil via a tender, Reuters tender records show.
Its Dumai refinery also had a fire incident on October 1, in which the company spokesperson said that main refinery operations were still ongoing though traders said it had cut crude runs slightly for two weeks.
