By August 2025, the Itajaí Port Complex had handled 641,345 tons in exports and 673,623 tons in imports. The complex is formed by the Port of Itajaí and the private use terminals Teporti Terminal Portuário de Itajaí S.A., Poly Terminais S.A., Trocadeiro Portos e Logística Ltda., Barra do Rio Terminal Portuário S.A., Terminal Portuário Braskarne and Portonave S.A. Terminais Portuários de Navegantes.

In total, from January to August 2025, the Port of Itajaí received 288 ships, a number significantly higher than that recorded in the same period last year, when 85 vessels were counted.

The leased area, managed by JBS Terminais, handled 2.4 million tons of cargo in the first eight months of 2025, with 1,350,145 tons in exports and 1,052,478 tons in imports.

The public wharf recorded the movement of 392,806 tons this year, compared to 240,250 tons in the same period last year, representing a growth of 63.5%. Of this total, 242,771 tons corresponded to imports and 150,035 tons to exports.

The sum of the movements from the area leased by JBS Terminais and the public wharf at the Port of Itajaí totaled 2,795,429 tons of cargo, with 1,500,180 tons in exports and 1,295,249 tons in imports.
