Jinglu Shipyard completes full maintenance project for multi-purpose heavy lift vessel

On August 18, 2025, the 28,000 DWT multipurpose heavy lift vessel “Dayuxia,” owned by COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers and undergoing maintenance at Jinglu Shipyard, successfully completed all repair work, cast off, and embarked on a new voyage. The flawless conclusion of this maintenance project not only demonstrated Jinglu Shipyard’s technical prowess and service quality once again but also earned high recognition and sincere gratitude from the shipowner.

As a heavy lift vessel playing a vital role in the multipurpose shipping sector, the ship measures 166.31 meters in overall length, 27.40 meters in beam, 14.20 meters in depth, and has a design draft of 8.50 meters, boasting robust cargo transportation and lifting capabilities.

The maintenance project focused on tasks such as hull and cargo hold painting, shaft and propeller work, pipeline and valve repairs, and hatch cover refurbishment. Faced with this assignment, Jinglu Shipyard’s project team dedicated themselves fully to the work with a professional, efficient approach and a commitment to excellence.
