The public competition is open to young people aged between 18 and 40
There is time until June 5th to participate in the public competition, based on qualifications and exams, for the recruitment of sixteen orchestra members for the band of the Italian Navy. Candidates, aged between 18 and 40, may aspire to the following roles:
a. one position of First Marshal for the following instrument: – 1st E-flat Piccolo Clarinet;
b. one position of Chief 1st Class for the following instrument: – 1st B-flat Soprano Clarinet;
c. one position of Chief 1st Class for the following instrument: – 1st F Bass Trombone;
d. one position of Chief 1st Class for the following instrument: – F Bass Flugelhorn;
e. one position of Chief 1st Class for the following instrument: – 2nd Flute (with obligation of Piccolo);
f. one position of Chief 1st Class for the following instrument: – 2nd E-flat Piccolo Clarinet (with obligation of E-flat Piccolo Clarinet);
g. one position of Chief 1st Class for the following instrument: – 1st B-flat Soprano Clarinet;
h. one position of Chief 1st Class for the following instrument: – 2nd B-flat Soprano Clarinet;
i. one position of Chief 1st Class for the following instrument: – 2nd B-flat Contrabass Flugelhorn;
j. one position of Chief 2nd Class for the following instrument: – 1st E-flat Alto Clarinet (Doubling);
k. one position of Chief 2nd Class for the following instrument: – B-flat Contrabass Clarinet;
l. one position of Chief 2nd Class for the following instrument: – 1st B-flat Soprano Clarinet;
m. one position of Chief 2nd Class for the following instrument: – 2nd E-flat Alto Clarinet (Doubling);
n. one position of Chief 2nd Class for the following instrument: – 2nd E-flat Baritone Saxophone;
o. one position of Chief 2nd Class for the following instrument: – 3rd E-flat Alto Flugelhorn;
p. one position of Chief 2nd Class for the following instrument: – 2nd Snare Drum (with obligation of Timpani and other percussion instruments).
