On June 26, Chuandong Shipbuilding and Nanjing Yangyang Chemical Shipping Co., Ltd. signed the delivery protocol for the 11,300-ton stainless steel chemical tanker “Ninghua 433”. The vessel was built with assistance from Chengxi Shipyard, and its delivery marks the successful conclusion of Chengxi Shipyard’s three-year assistance program, with the project’s履约能力 and service quality highly recognized by the partner.
The delivered 11,300-ton stainless steel chemical tanker has an overall length of 119.8 meters, a molded breadth of 19.6 meters, a molded depth of 11.4 meters, a design draft of 8.2 meters, a deadweight tonnage of 11,300 tons, a design speed of 12.5 knots, and is classed with China Classification Society, flying the Chinese flag. The cargo tanks are constructed from 2205 duplex stainless steel, offering极强的 corrosion resistance and enabling the safe carriage of various high-end liquid chemicals, suitable for global navigation. The vessel meets IMO Tier III emission requirements and has obtained the Green Ecological Ship G-EP and G-ECO附加标志, with environmental performance reaching industry-leading levels.
In accordance with the deployment requirements of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), starting from 2024, Chengxi Shipyard officially launched a special assistance program for Chuandong Shipbuilding to ensure vessel delivery. The leadership team of Chengxi Shipyard attached great importance to this cross-unit assistance task, promptly统筹部署 and driving it at a high level, specifically establishing a special assistance leadership group headed by Deputy General Manager Jiang Daoru, with two special working groups: the Work Promotion Group and the Logistics Support Group, to effectively assist Chuandong Shipbuilding in solving vessel delivery difficulties.
In 2024, Chengxi Shipyard focused its assistance work on the core tasks of quay commissioning for the 6,300-ton chemical tanker and the 7,450-ton chemical tanker. The assistance team adhered to the work principles of planning first, precise coordination, and strict implementation,梳理 the entire commissioning workflow for the two vessels in advance, detailing work plans for each stage and process, and establishing a closed-loop implementation mechanism. Both vessels were delivered ahead of schedule that year, successfully completing the annual assistance goals, fully demonstrating Chengxi Shipyard’s极强的 node control awareness and efficient production履约能力, earning high recognition.
In 2025, the assistance work was further expanded in scope and quality, advancing in depth. While continuing to provide assistance for the quay commissioning of the 11,500-ton chemical tanker, Chengxi Shipyard proactively took on additional challenges, adding the task of异地搭载 for an 8,000-ton chemical tanker. To ensure the efficient progress of the off-site construction, Chengxi Shipyard precisely dispatched professional construction teams and key management personnel to be permanently stationed at the Chuandong Shipbuilding site, providing全程驻场指导 and tackling key operations. Facing adverse working conditions, the assistance team optimized construction plans, seized effective construction periods, and全力补齐进度短板. Ultimately, they broke through the adverse conditions, turning the “impossible” under many unfavorable circumstances into “possible”, laying a solid foundation for the realization of the overall goal of successfully launching all vessels for Chuandong Shipbuilding within the year.
In 2026, Chengxi Shipyard continued to deepen the results of the assistance, initiating comprehensive and full-coverage final-phase assistance work. The assistance team intervened early, implemented前置管控, precisely assessed the construction status of the last two vessels under construction at Chuandong Shipbuilding during their stage transitions, itemized work lists item by item, established a work orientation of “taking the plan as the guideline and the milestone as the order”, and strictly and realistically pushed for the implementation and effectiveness of each construction milestone. Through the unremitting efforts of all Chuandong Shipbuilding employees and the comprehensive assistance from Chengxi Shipyard, the delivery of the 8,000-ton chemical tanker and the 11,300-ton chemical tanker was successfully completed. All annual assistance goals were exceeded ahead of schedule, achieving significant results in the vessel delivery攻坚 work.
From 2024 to the present, Chengxi Shipyard has resolutely implemented the unified deployment of CSSC, relying on its strong technical strength, rigorous management system, and tenacious攻坚 style, successfully completing the annual assistance tasks, effectively assisting Chuandong Shipbuilding in breaking through production bottlenecks and ensuring vessel delivery, fully demonstrating the responsibility and professional capability of协同联动 and聚力攻坚.
During the reform and adjustment process, Chuandong Shipbuilding, on the one hand, undertook the delivery task of 10 vessels and over 10,000 tons of steel structure product orders, and on the other hand, faced pressures such as personnel分流安置. The company actively fulfilled its main responsibilities, adopting measures such as closed-loop management, list-based control, and a dedicated team for off-site vessel delivery to continuously improve construction efficiency and complete the delivery work at each stage.
Among them, 5 vessels were delivered ahead of schedule; the first-built Junzheng 11,300-ton stainless steel chemical tanker was built and delivered in only 16 months, 2 months earlier than the original plan, setting the shortest construction record for the group’s first-built vessel of the same type; the Nanyou 8,000-ton product oil tanker achieved towing 60 days after launching, sea trial 40 days after arrival at the towing port, and completion of all rectifications 25 days after the sea trial; the construction cycle on the slipway for the Nanyou 11,300-ton stainless steel chemical tanker was shortened to 3.5 months, the large joining of the bow and stern sections took only 8 days, and the effective construction period from launching to sea trial was only 4 months, setting a new record for the shortest construction period of a stainless steel chemical tanker at Chuandong Shipbuilding.
