LIVORNO – Atena sezione Toscana, the Italian Association of Naval Engineering, has announced the Atena Yachting Day, an event dedicated to the excellence of the Tuscany Yachting sector, scheduled for October 23 in Livorno at the Cruise Terminal, starting at 9:00 AM. The initiative is carried out with the support of the company Porto di Livorno 2000, the union USCLAC, the International Propeller Port of Leghorn and with the Patronage of the Livorno Port Authority.

The Tuscan Yachting District continues to stand out as a global reference player in the construction of yachts from 30 to 70 meters, with a share reaching 30% of global production. Considering that the segment above 50 meters now represents 60% of the economic value of the global boating market, Tuscany positions itself as an international as well as national leader for the sector.

“Atena Yachting Day” proposes a moment of discussion among the main players in the sector: shipyards, companies, institutions, experts and professionals, on the most urgent issues, from the state of the art, to the perspectives and future challenges of this sector of excellence in which Tuscany has a leading global role.
