Maersk appoints Scott Elliott as President of Asia Pacific Region

On June 23, 2026, A.P. Moller – Maersk (hereinafter referred to as “Maersk”) announced the appointment of Scott Elliott as President of the Asia Pacific region. Elliott has been managing the Asia Pacific business in an interim capacity since January 2026. He joined Maersk in 2020 and previously served as Chief Financial Officer for the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to joining Maersk, Elliott worked at Toll Global Singapore, serving as President of Global Freight Forwarding and Divisional Chief Financial Officer; earlier in his career at CEVA Logistics, he held senior finance and management positions in the United States, China, the Netherlands, and Australia, gaining comprehensive management experience covering operations, commercial, and finance across major global trade lanes.

Elliott stated: “The Asia Pacific region is the world’s largest regional economy, a vital engine for global trade, and a core market for Maersk’s growth vision. I am honored to work hand in hand with the excellent teams, customers, and partners in the region. We have already laid a solid foundation together, and I look forward to deepening cooperation with all parties in the future to support our customers’ business growth.”

Currently, the selection process for the head of finance for Maersk’s Asia Pacific region is underway.
